On October 12, the KU Natural History Museum is offering a special event — Party in the Panorama — to help raise funds for the restoration of the Panorama, the exhibit that dates to the early days of KU. In the spirit of the 1893 World's Fair where the exhibit first debuted, the Party in the Panorama will include international foods, drinks, music and science games and demonstrations. Local music favorites Truckstop Honeymoon will keep you dancing in the Panorama.
Activities include a photobooth with non other than Lewis Lindsay Dyche, a sound bar-be-que (with fire!) and a silent auction featuring natural history photography, art and even fossils. Images in this gallery are representative of the auction items. Tickets are available through the KU Alumni Association.
